During my years as the chef/owner of Canopy Rose Cafe and Catering, I learned something very interesting about the taste preferences of folks in this region of the country.
A large segment of the population loves casseroles! My savory comfort food casserole specials always sold out faster than all of the other daily specials or standard menu fare.
Go figure! I did! Which led me to tweak my offerings to give my customers more of what they wanted, while still keeping true to the creative spirit that defines my approach to meal preparation.
In this class, we will be exploring the art of creative casserole cookery. I'll share my tried-and- true secrets for creating delicious and nutritious one dish meals. We'll learn about what freezes well and go home with several recipes and strategies for stocking our freezers with our own delicious pre-packaged meals.
