She went from being a classroom teacher to a workshop coordinator / facilitator to owning her own high-end catering and special event company in Florida's capital region. After devoting over a decade to planning and orchestrating many of Tallahassee's most beautiful and delicious parties, she shuttered her catering business to pour her energy into other creative pursuits. During this time she began writing a regular food and entertaining column in the newspaper and founded Kathi Dameron and Associates, a consulting boutique that specializes in culinary collaborations and food-related projects. Coming full circle with her career- she now ties together the experiences she honed in the classroom, at the workshop podium and in the kitchen to birth a new adventure: culinary arts classes!
